Removal of dissolved gases for system protection and efficiency
The thermal deaerator removes oxygen and carbon dioxide from boiler feed water, preventing corrosion, increasing energy efficiency and prolonging the useful life of equipment.
It uses live steam to heat water close to boiling, reducing the solubility of two gases. Removal is carried out by controlled ventilation, with residual oxygen content less than 0.05 mg/L. The degassing dome includes alternating spray nozzles and tabuleiros to maximize efficiency.
